Gynecomastia: Almost half of adolescent boys will develop gynecomastia (breast tissue on a man) during their adolescence. Most will go away on their own in a period of a couple of months to a couple of years. It can be on one side of both. If it hurts, turns red, swells further, get it checked. If the breasts become very large and embarrassing, your doctor can refer him for treatment.
