Sores: Post nasal drip and canker sores are typically not related. However if you feel that you have sores in your throat, you need an evaluation.

No and yes: The two conditions are not related and you can get canker sores in your throat but are more common in the mouth. Canker sores are an autoimmune response to a food or substance that you are exposed to. Sometimes canker sores can appear in the throat and not actually be canker sores but a viral infection which would make you feel ill.
