Depressed?: Would definitely seek medical attention to make sure that there is nothing "medically" going on. If not, depression may be to be addressed.

You don't have to : This might be a habit. If you are not happy with it you can form a new habit--such as getting up calmly after you wake up. You're in charge. You can establish a new habit. If you're lacking motivation to participate in activities and pursuits you might have depression. A professional mental health specialist can evaluate this with you.

Hard to know: This could be caused by a number of different issues including some medical problems or mood disorders such as depression. Suggest getting tests from family doc to rule medical issues then seeking therapy may be warranted.
