Not advisable: Eat some fruits for breakfast instead. Skipping meals may cause stomach irritation from acid production. Somehow, food will neutralize the acid. Drink more water before, during and after meals to curb your appetite. Cut back on carbs and sugary drinks. Exercise more. Ask your dr if over the counter diet pills are safe for you.

Don't miss breakfast: Especially if you are trying to lose weight- do not skip breakfast.If you miss your breakfast, you will be hungry and have a tendency to eat a bigger meal for lunch and perhaps dinner- which is not a good think if you try to lose weight. Better off- is to not skipping your breakfast and doing a portion control and counting your calories of whatever you eat everyday. Don't forget to exercise.
