Pain: Post injury and post-operative pain management is most appropriately done by the surgeon who did the care/surgery. Call and arrange a follow-up appointment with the (i assume) orthopedic surgeon. Explain the pain issues and request analgesics to carry you until your pain management appointment comes through. I'm wondering why pain management is involved for acute injury.
