Impacts study: Some research studies have shown Omeprazole delays gastric emptying (though other studies have not born this out). Taking a medicine that may impact or alter the true results of a study are not in your best interest. You want to know if your stomach behaves properly or not. To find out, we stop all medicines that may give false answers before testing.

Depends: I thinks you mean Omeprazole for gastroesophageal reflux.Omeprazole can slow gastric emptying. The question asked by your doctor determines answer. If he wants to know if you are still having gastroesophageal reflux while on Omeprazole then you continue to take the medication. If he is questioning delay in gastric emptying he may wish you either to be on or off omeprazole. You should ask the doctor.

Omeprazole?: I believe the medication you mentioned is Omeprazole which is an antacid and actually may delay gastric emptying. Stop using this medications at least 1 week prior to study. Good luck!
