A member asked:

My 22 week old girl has a tiny lump above her pelvic area. i felt it while changing her diaper; it's on her upper left pelvis area. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Location: If this corresponds to the fold of the groin it is likely a lymph note. These are small structures that sift through body serum & clean out debris before the serum is returned to the circulation. There are many located throughout the body & those in the fold of the groin will often be noticed as pea to peanut sized, rubbery bumps that seem attached. They are a normal finding.
