Pellet Therapy: Pellet therapy has more drawbacks than benefits. It is very inexact with regard to dosing and cannot be modified after placed aside from surgical lavage. It carries all the downsides of transdermal hrt with a greater element of the unknown.

A Matter Of Choice: After the diagnosis is made, the reestablishment of hormone balance is the key to hrt. The method you pursue is a matter of choice. Componded pellet implants are simply one of those choices. Compounded pellets have not undergone the fda approval process. When rx'd appropriately, pellets are effective and safe. Off-label prescribing is also not fda approved, but many md prescribe off-label rx.
