New diet pill: I am not sure which pill you are referring to.... A few rx pills have tried to get passed the fda, but have not succeeded completely. I do believe there is absolute necessity to have (as safe as possible) weight medications avaiable for patients. I also believe those physicians need to have specialized training. I hope a wt med can be used to help people who have lost wt maintain the loss.

Which diet pill?: I can’t personally make recommendations for weight loss products but the following are FDA approved: Alli, Xenical (orlistat),Meridia (sibutramine), Adipex-P (phentermine & Sanorex (mazindol). If you could tell us which medication you were referring to, we could provide more specific information.
