Menopausal Pain: The right sided pain could reflect ovarian cystic activity, like the l -sided cysts you had 13 years ago. You didn't say how long you have been menopausal - ovarian activity will reflect residual levels of lh and fsh, depending on whether you are truly menopausal or peri-menopausal. The surgery could also have resulted in some scarring and stretching of ligaments. Check w/ your gynecologist.

Uh oh: A postmenopausal woman shouldn't have hemorrhagic cysts. Hopefully you are perimenopausal - in which case a cyst on the ovary wouldn't be as worrisome. You probably need to have a ca-125 level checked, and definitely need a sonogram in the next few weeks to see if the cyst goes away.
