A member asked:

My husband is complaining about pin pricks in his feet when standing up.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Numbness?: Pinpricks can be a sign of the foot "falling asleep". This can happen with any type of pinched or interrupted nerve, for example in the back or hip area. Sciatica can trigger this as well. Occasionally, pin pricks in the feet are a sign of neuropathy, potentially irreversible nerve danmage. I'd suggest seeing a doctor and asking them to diagnose this problem. There is treatment!
