Petechiae?: Rashes are always a bit of a diagnostic dilemma, but one possibility for this rash is caused a low platelet count. Are you having any new bruising, nose bleeds, or gum bleeding? Platelets are important for the appropriate clotting of blood, and when your platelet count is low, you can get this typical petechial rash. If it spreads or appears elsewhere, a platelet check might be warranted.
