It depends: Why do you hate your crown? What is it about the crown that needs to be "fixed"? If it is because it is the wrong color, shape, size, or doesn't fit well, you may have to replace it because once in your mouth those things are tougn or impossible to change. If it is because the crown doesn't mesh with your bite well, then you just may need it adjusted. Go see a dentist and discuss it with him.

New: There are several different types of dental crowns. Maybe you have the wrong one for the wrong place. Also - even though cheap crowns still cost a lot of money, a cheap crown has too many problems with it.

Yes: Crowns must be functional and esthetic. It is a function of properly preparing the underlying tooth, and creating contours, shapes, and color compatible with your mouth. Proper materials for your situation are also important. Discuss your concern w your dentist.

Yes: Go back to the dentist who placed it and see if it can be adjusted to your satisfaction, otherwise, the crown may need to be replaced.
