Nausea: Nausea can be a side effect of almost any pharmacologic agent. It is certainly possible with any opioid analgesic agent although its emergence is of variable notice in each patient as each patient's tolerance of side effects is different.

They could: All narcotic pain medications have nausea as a lited side effect that could occur in almost 25% of patients using them. This side effect is variable among different narcotics and is different in each individual patient. The only way to know if a patient will get nauea or not, is to try the medication.
