Ask your doctor: There are several medications useful to treat nausea and vomiting caused by narcotics. The most popular is Ondansetron, which is available as a dissolvable wafer on the tongue. Promethazine is also used, but can cause quite a bit of drowsiness as can Scopolamine. Not cheap, but also available is Aprepitant.

Phenergan (promethazine): Sometimes a combination of drugs is used to provide enhanced effects and/or prevent adverse reactions. Phenergan, (promethazine) an antihistamine with antiemetic effects, minimizes the side effect of nausea from codeine and also increases sedation. Always talk to your doctor before taking any new medicine.
