In appropriate place: Propofol is an extremely fast acting drug that is commonly used today. It requires full monitoring by a highly trained anesthesia professional. Under those circumstances it is a very valuable asset in the range of options for patient management. The problems with michael jackson were the lack of monitoring and the inappropriate use.

Propofol: Is a very potent medication. It has to be used by physicians trained in resuscitation and airway management. In the right hands, it is an elegant drug. In the wrong hands, you're in for trouble.
