How long does a solution of hydrocodone and water remain effective?

Dr. Richard Pollard answered

Not enough info: There are several concerns here. Why was the medication put on water? Was sterile water used? Was the solution mixed in a sterile fashion by a pharmacy? Concerns will exist about the possibility of contamination of the solution, and the possible growth of bacteria in the solution. Talk to who made the solution, and/or talk to your local pharmacist about their opinion.
