Kratom: This is a substance from tropical tree in southeast asia, in low doses it causes stimulation & psychosis, & at high doses it is sedating. Is addictive. It can cause positive urine drug screen similar to psychostimulants.

Kratom: Kratom will not make you fail any standard drug test. Of its 40+ active alkaloids, one has activity which activates an opioid receptor. However, Kratom will not show up as an opioid on a standard UDS. It CAN be ordered as an add-on, specifically looking for mirtagynine or its metabolite. This is an add-on test, and at extra cost. It would not be looked for often.
