How do i get rid of this dander in my home if i have a cat allergy?

One year: Cat dander can remain in the house for one year after removing the pet. Remove all carpeting, get a hepa air cleaner for the bedroom, encase the pillows and mattress with dust mite proof covers, change your furniture to leather covers. If you still have the pet, get on allergy shots.
