Will anesthesia make me act weird?

Past predicts future: If you have a family history of problems with general anesthesia tell your doctor. Most patients tolerate the gerneral anesthesia well. Try to have a positive thought process before having the procedure it may really help.

A few minutes after?: Some people are slightly confused or disinhibited for a few minutes after general anesthesia. This is why patients are taken to a recovery area and carefully observed and cared for after anesthesia. If you are worried about embarrassing yourself, don't worry; the nurses will generally hold off any visitors until you are ready to see them.

Don't worry.: Under general anesthesia you will not say or do anything. Essentially in this type of anesthesia you are so far asleep that we take over your breathing for you. Before you go to sleep you will receive a sedative agent which will make you more relaxed. Again it won't make you say or do anything inappropriate.
