Discomfort: Fallen or prolapsed bladder means the vaginal tissue overlying the back bladder wall is pushing out through the vaginal opening. The tissue should be moist, and when it is protruding, it dries out a bit. This condition also makes it easier to get a bladder infection because the opening of the bladder is distorted, and the bladder doesn't empty well. A pessary or surgery can help.
