What are the dangers of having a stomach ulcer?

Bleeding: Erosion into a blood vessel can cause life threatening bleeding. Perforation through the stomach can cause peritonitis which is life threatening. Sometimes the pancreas can become inflamed fromthe ulcer causing pancreatitis which is also life threatening. All in all, not a good thing to have untreated.
