QT: Periodic checks of qt interval are prudent with these drugs. When increasing the dose, more frequent. Without long qt the risk is low.

No. What's SCA?: Sertraline is not known for significantly increasing the qt interval the way that other psychiatric medications can do. Citalopram, another ssri, is more likely to cause it, but only at higher doses. A long qt interval does increase the risk of cardiac arrhythmias. I have never seen a case of someone developing an arrhythmia on sertraline alone.
