Yes, and is: Recommended in those with rh neg blood type, like say o-. If the baby is rh pos and his blood enters yours you could form antibodies which can attack the blood of your future babies. The Rhogam will bind to any rh pos. Blood in your system to prevent your body from making the antibodies. If that made no sense google rhogam. Gd luck.
