Yes: Any bleeding that may have entered into your body could sensitize you. One dose of Rhogam protects you from 30cc of whole blood your doctor will determine if you need more Rhogam depending on where the bleeding came from. Extra Rhogam will not hurt you and it is better to be safe than sorry.

Rh neg blood type: Bleeding from the placenta may indicate leakage of baby's blood who maybe rh positive (may leak into mother's blood). Rhogam at 28 weeks is an excellent thought and again after birth if baby's blood really turns out to be rh positive.
