It's your eyelid: The eyeballs almost never change size rapidly. It's your eyelid position that most commonly changes. A droopy eyelid (ptosis) can make that eye look smaller. Another possibility is something pushing one eye forward (proptosis). Go to your ophthalmologist for an exam.
