Be seen: Post menopausal bleeding is always of concern, you should see your physician. That said, you have a good reason for it, by stopping the hormones, but still your physician needs to know what is going on.

Hormones: Yes, it is common to spot or bleed when changing or stopping hormones. If the bleeding persists more than a few weeks though it would be good to consult with your physician.

It's normal: Why stop hormones? If worried, check with a contemporary gynecologist familiar with all the information about hormone replacement therapy.

Maybe.: Bleeding occurs of the amount of progestin is lower than needed by the amount of estrogen. This is why i avoid combo-pills with both in a fixed dose of patch. It is quite controversial about hrt, but Medroxyprogesterone is not "heart healthy, " why estrogen is. Therefore I use natural progesterone. If your bleeding continues, check with your doctor.
