See below: Dandy walker variant is less severe than then the "malformation." a wide range of symptoms/outcomes are seen since the 4th ventricle is mildly enlarged along with the post. Fossa. Usually 25% can have hydrocephalus , but CNS variances are uncommon. Close follow up with your pediatrician in monitoring growth of head, & overall progress in development is needed.
