If av node depolarizes faster than sa node, would heart rate equal rate of av node depolarization?

Av node: There can be competition between the sinus node and av node when the av node depolarization rate is similar to that of the sinus node. If the av node is faster than the sinus, then it can take over and cause av nodal escape rhythm the rate usually would be that of the av node, but can be more if some sinus beats get through.
