A member asked:

What are the risks of damaging your sinal node during a ep study specifically looking to find the cause of my innaprorite fast heart rate ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

EP study: The electrophysiologist performing the study will be able to give you the percentages, but it is not common to damage the sinus node when performing these studies. The one exception is when performing a nodal ablation, then the node is damaged to reduce conduction.
