Weight loss: Pcos is a condition where excess hormones - progesterone, estrogen, testosterone and or their analogs/precursors are made by fatty tissues. The only cure is a reduction in weight, although there are a small percentage of underwt women with this. You can treat some symptoms with birth control hormones, and possible metformin, but not "fix it" without decreasing the amount of body fat.

PCOS: Unfortunately pcos cannot be cure sometimes. The first and easisest way to regain monthly ovulation is weight loss. It can be depression not being able to get pregnant and turn to bad eating habits, but with help from a professional you can do this. There are antidepressant meds that dont increase appetite and actually may help decrease it. Seek a professional advice, and be patient.Hope it helps.

Lifestyle change: While there's no cure for pcos, it's a condition that is medically manageable with healthy diet, exercise, and often a medication called, metformin. Oral contraceptive agents as well as other medication may be used as well.
