Different brand?: The best treatment for allergic reactions to medications is avoidance and find an acceptable substitute. It's possible that it was not the biotin itself, but another ingredient within the preparation. To assist, see an allergist and he/she can assist in evaluating labels to detect an ingredient that could have been responsible and find a safe alternative.

Stop biotin: Probably not allergy to biotin, but no loss. Save your money. Biotin will not help your hair or nails.
