It's possible that it was not the biotin itself, but another ingredient within the preparation. To assist, see an allergist and he/she can assist in evaluating labels to detect an ingredient that could have been responsible and find a safe alternative.

Stop biotin: Probably not allergy to biotin, but no loss. Save your money. Biotin will not help your hair or nails.
