A member asked:

Are the vitamines good for you do they help? or it's only matter of having good alimentation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Vitamins are rarely needed if one has access to high quality nutrition. If your GI tract has problems absorbing nutrients, you are intolerant to some foods or have increased nutrient losses, they are appropriate.Vits a, e, d&k are retained & can cause pbs if taken in excess. The rest are not stored. Some people want the extra, studies are conflicting on any benefits to healthy people.
