Insomnia: Now this is a tough one! how old is the patient? Strategies and recommendations differ with age. However some common applicable rules- dim the room lights; calming music might help.

Change Ur perspectiv: Babies are not aware of sleep or it's benefits until into their 2nd yr. At birth, they learn to cry when they want things to change & use this when they tire. Your job is to recognize when they tire & help them settle. Getting to sleep is their job. Feed as they wake up, entertain for a while & place them alone in their crib when they tire. Those who rock or feed them to sleep have more pbms.
