Contribute to: Plain and simple roten teeth are a source of infection which results in inflamation. Chronic inflamation is considered a contibutor (like smoking) when it comes to multiple different disease entities, like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer to name a few.

Two main issues: The list is endless. There are two main categories. First, the teeth can become infected and spread to any part of your body and any organ, causing severe complications including death. Secondly, poor nutrition from the inability to digest your food properly can affect your entire body, every organ, etc. Do you need any better reason to see your dentist for routine checkups and cleaning?
