Modify diet: No, if he is eating rice cereal and bananas take it out of his diet for a week or two. If she is dr inking more than 24 ounces of formula, i would also cut. The amount.

Solids in infants: Once you introduce solids to infants, their stooling habits do change, if your baby was breastfed only before starting solids, his stool may no longer be mustard like and frequent. Some babies do better by starting solids a little later, like at 5 to 6 months of age.

Maybe,maybe not: Some solids are worse than others as constipating agents.Rice cereal & bananas are two of the worst for slowing stools.Sometimes dropping the volume of the solids will correct the issue. I don't encourage solids until 6m or later anyway, so do as you need.
