Complex Physiology: In asthma airways are narrowed. This causes air to flow faster, & exert less pressure inside the airway walls. When you exhale the pressure in the chest cavity surrounding the lung increases and since the airway pressure is lower inside the airway, airways get squeezed shut. In inspiration the pressure outside the airway is lower this doesn't happen. Rx is med to open airway up.

Bronchodilators: In asthma and or hyperactive airway disease, the lining of your windpipe mucosa sells up,thus you need to exert more when you breathe out,if you have been prescribed inhalers ,you should use the as prescribed, and breathing exercise will help,if you are not being treated, you should see you doctor or a pulmonologist.
