Try again: Once doesn't always do it for sinusitis. May have a resistant organism and thus need a different antibiotic. May have problems with structure of nose and face and may need other treatment such as surgery. You may not even have a sinus infection? Get re-examined by pcp or by ent.

Sinus Infection: The pain / pressure of sinus infections is not due to the bacteria, but due to the blocked nose and sinus passages. When the mucus gets plugged up, bacterial growth continues. The bacterial infection is just part of the problem. Try adding an oral decongestant or a topical decongestant spray. If this does not do it, see your doctor again.
