Can we be manic depressive and schizophrenia both?

Unfortunately, yes: Mood disorder and thought disorder can coincide, although i tend to see it as a trifecta--adding in substance abuse, which just makes both worse and the whole situation more complicated. See/work with a psychologist and psychiatrist for best benefit.

Schizaffective DO: Schizoaffective disorder can combine the symptoms of both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I find it difficult to diagnose and have seen very few cases.

Schizoaffective: Schizoaffective disorder is an extremely serious illness that can be thought of as a combination of schizophrenic (psychosis) and bipolar disorder (the old term being manic depression) with involves extreme mood swings.
