Unfortunately, yes: Mood disorder and thought disorder can coincide, although i tend to see it as a trifecta--adding in substance abuse, which just makes both worse and the whole situation more complicated. See/work with a psychologist and psychiatrist for best benefit.

Schizaffective DO: Schizoaffective disorder can combine the symptoms of both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I find it difficult to diagnose and have seen very few cases.
