How long does it take for hair to grow back in general after scalp ringworm?

1cm per month: Tinea capitis---scalp fungus-----does not usually destroy hairs. They break off. They continue to grow, so cure from the fungus allows growth without breaking. Hair grows at 1 cm (about 1/2 inch) every month. If there was significant inflammation or if there is scar formation, hairs are permanently destroyed.
