Possibly: Have you been tested for diabetes or underactive thyroid function? Are you on any medications? Several can cause weight gain. How many calories do you consume each day? Do you drink a lot of sugary drinks like pop? How much exercise do you get? Exercise, portion control, low glycemic index foods, permanent changes in eating habits may help if not a medical condition.

Yes: Some med problems can cause or at very least worsen obesity (not causing all the extra weight but making it harder to lose), so see ur pcp or endo. Although u may have put in significant effort, dieting correctly may help u see results- often a combo of dietician, psychiatrist and endo is needed.
