Phentermine: Don't: Three years? Have you lost weight? Are you continuing to lose weight? What was your weight three years ago and what is it today? Your heart rhythm may be damaged. You may have excess heart muscle. This medication becomes physically addictive. I no of absolutely any ethical physician who would put you on this medicine in the first place or keep you on it for three years. This is bad medicine.
