Essential Oils: Essential oils, such as carnation oil, can be toxic if ingested by accident: http://voices.Yahoo.Com/dangers-essential-oils-280791.Html. I would follow up with your doctor and see if he wants to run any tests. I assume you have not experienced any perceptible symptoms?

Happened just now?: If a small child just ingested this much, an emergency room visit is in order. If the ingestion is by someone who's bigger or it's been a while and there's no signs of trouble, no worries. Carnation oil / clove oil / eugenol is a pricey aromatherapy oil; i was able to find a lone account of temporary liver damage in a two year old who took this much.

Possibly: You should call the poison control center in your area and ask them. Do it right away. And don't worry about what they might think; they get calls about people ingesting all kinds of things. I did some quick research and the oil seems dangerous only if you inhale it. But i depends on how concentrated it is, the manufacturer, etc. Let me know what you find out!
