It shouldn't : Breast reduction surgery should not impact your daughter's breast cancer risk, although the scar tissue that forms may impair the subsequent interpretation of mammograms. Overall, i wouldn't let this impact her decision one way or another.

No,other factors can: Breast reduction does not increase the risk for breast cancer but a larger sized/volume breast does carry a higher risk. The family history of breast cancer or having a positive brca gene increases her risk. There are other factors to consider. In a breast reduction the removed tissue is sent to pathology and her surgeon will be able to tell her the report during the first or second post-op visit.
