When can laxatives start causing harm?

WHEN OVERUSED: Laxative, especially chemical laxatives (as opposed to fibre products, ) can cause colonic motility difficulties if used for extended periods. I'd avoid laxatives entirely at your young age. I suggest a balanced diet, rich in fibre and fruits/vegetables. Drink plenty of fluids. Good luck.
