Nerve pain : If the problem is acute it can resolve by itselfprovided you do not reactivate it. You must stop any movement or exercise that will aggravate the pain. If the problem is chronic it can be permanent. Shock like feelings are always related to nerve irritation or injury.

Maybe: In general: pain in the groin is either arthritis or a labral tear. Pain on the side of the hip is a bursitis. Pain at the "back pocket" is nerve related. An electric shock can be nerve symptoms, but at your age you may also have a bit of arthritis or a cartilage tear. I would get an evaluation by an orthopedic specialist.
