ECG: The classic findings are Q waves in 2 contiguous leads, st segment elevation. The are many other variations as well.

May or may not be: Typically st elevation myocardial infarction may have st segment elevation either in leads 2, 3, avf/or anterior/ posterior/lateral leads depending on the site of the infarction. Sometimes there not be any changes in ekg, (or minmal changes)when it is called non st elevation mi.
