Depends on…: What form you're using & how severe the injury. Olfen (diclofenac) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug for mild-moderate pain. Inongan (methyl salicylate) is usually a topical anti-inflmmatory. Prolonged use of diclofenac may irritate the stomach. Frequent use of salicylates can affect hearing. If using either only short-term, decide according to the amount of pain: diclofenac for more sever.
