Lateralepicondyliyis: Inflamation of the origin of the wrist and especially 2/3rd finger extensors.Pain felt on the outside(lateral) elbow. Caused by over use of these muscles. Classically seen in tennis players but exclusively. Treated with rest, pt/exercises, armbands, injections and ultimately surgery.

Tendon problem: Tennis elbow is a tendonopathy, meaning inflammation, degeneration and/or microtears of the common extensor tendon of the forearm, as it originates at the lateral elbow onto the lateral epicondyle (end of the humerus).
