Family practice: It still take 4-6 weeks to heal you can injure ligaments and tendons that don't show up on xray.

Can't catch a break: Since there's no obvious fracture on x-ray it's likely a contusion or sprain or minor ligament damage. Should heel up ok but may take a mumber of weeks.
